Job Description

Due to growth and expansion we are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work at our Portland, OR facility. In this position you will be working on our Terex Lifts along with trucks, graders, and other equipment. This is a Monday-Friday day shift position with occasional OT. Ideal candidate will have Diesel Tech school and at least 2 years of experience working on Heavy Equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on equipment.

  • Conducts safety checks on equipment.

  • Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing equipment, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair

  • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs.

  • Provide personal tools.

  • Proficiency in equipment diagnosis and repair.

  • Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
